Description from the seller

Konica I Type 1 Rangefinder + Hexanon 50mm f/2.8 – Shutter & RF Working – Classic Japanese 35mm Film Camera 1948

A beautifully compact example of early Konica rangefinder design — the kind of camera that represents Japan’s post-war precision: fully mechanical, simple, and incredibly satisfying to use.
This Konica I Type 1 comes with the classic Hexanon 50mm f/2.8 and a Konirapid-S shutter. The camera has a strong “hands-on” feel: you wind, you focus, you shoot — no batteries, no menus, just pure mechanics.

Tested functions:
Shutter: works
Shutter speeds: change across all speeds
Film advance / rewind: works
Rangefinder: double image aligns
No test shooting with film performed.

Lens condition:
Dust / fungus / scratches / balsam separation present. No haze observed. Aperture blades move; oil marks present. (Please check photos carefully.)

Viewfinder: dust present.

Included: camera + Hexanon 50mm f/2.8 lens + yellow filter (shown in photos).

A great piece for collectors or anyone who enjoys vintage rangefinder character—also a solid base for restoration.

Please note that while we performed a basic functional check, this is a vintage camera that is nearly 80 years old. It is therefore sold in vintage/used condition, and age-related wear or intermittent behavior may occur. Kindly bid with this understanding and acceptance of its vintage nature.
