Set of 3 Scandinavian Folk Art Shepherd’s Cups, Hand-Carved Wooden Dippers, 1900s.
Description:
A beautiful set of three hand-carved wooden shepherd's cups (dippers) from Croatia, 1900s. These functional folk art cups are traditionally carved by shepherds from a single solid piece of wood while tending their sheep. Two of the cups are richly decorated with floral motifs, including the handle, while all three have a warm cognac-colored patina.
The cups are wider than tall, ideal for drinking or scooping, and show the maker's craftsmanship and personal attention. The condition is good, with some stains and small edge damage, consistent with their age.
