Description from the seller
A big and magnificent three-arm candelabra designed by Carl Gustav Hallberg in the early 1900s, made in silver-plated metal and executed in a rich Rococo design.
This impressive candelabra has a heavy, pompous look that upgrades any table setting and makes it feel more luxurious and stylish.
The design follows classic Rococo lines, featuring curved, flowing arms and ornate details that give the whole piece a lot of style.
The candle cups are finished with scalloped, petal-like edges, and the central stem sits on a wide, shaped base that gives it great balance on the surface.
One of the best parts is the dark, natural patina that has built up over time. It makes the details really pop and gives the silver a rich, vintage character that shows its age in a very attractive way.
The candelabra is stamped CGH(g) for Carl Gustav Hallberg, along with the Stockholm city mark and ALP indicating silver-plated.
It is also engraved with a dedication for a 50-year anniversary. It was originally given as a gift over a hundred years ago.
The underside is covered with green felt, protecting furniture surfaces.
Condition:
Very good condition. Light surface wear and a beautiful patina. No damage or structural issues. Stands stable and looks impressive from all angles.
Measurements:
Height: 20.5 cm
Width: 31 cm
Depth: 15.5 cm
