Description from the seller

Throughout Jules Richard's life, his house produced only stereoscopic devices. His successor, Roger Henrard, an aviation enthusiast, will develop the Planiphote and Altiphoto series for the army and professionals.

It is perfectly adapted to its function. It is held firmly in hand by its two handles. The one on the right, by its rotation, allows the advance of the film and the arming of the shutter. (The film press emerges when the film scrolls.) The trigger is done with the thumb on the big trigger. All these operations are done very quickly without having to let go of the device.

The lens are CarlZeissJena

The shutter is of the type with shutters, designed by E. Labrely, a series of slats let the light beam pass during their rotation, which avoids deformations. The three speeds available are 100, 120 and 160th of a second.

The folding viewfinder consists of a large divergent lens with a thick wire reticle and an alignment handlebar.

To learn a little more, you have to read Roger Henrard's autobiography "Un enragé du ciel", knowing that he was the successor of Jules Richard at the head of the company of the same name.
