Rolex Precision, 34 mm 18k yellow gold case with a leather band, manual-wind movement (Cal. 1210), dating to 1959, champagne dial repainted, original box included.
Description from the seller
A highly attractive 1950s Rolex Precision distinguished by the oversized 36mm solid 18k gold case - a notable rare and desirable size for a Precision of this era. This also makes it exceptionally wearable by modern standards.
The watch is housed in a British made AL Dennison- made fully hallmarked and historically correct case. Dennison was Rolex's official UK case supplier in the mid 20th Century and is widely respected among collectors for its quality and provenance.
The watch is powered by a Swiss manual wind movement (Cal 1210) sign "Montres Rolex", as expected for a genuine vintage Precision. The movement is clean, correct for the reference and reflects Rolex's reputation for robust, elegant time only calibres during this period. It runs very well.
The watch includes an original vintage Rolex box, a scarce survival that adds further collectability. On the case back is an inscription and overall the watch is good condition for its age with some surface scratching on the case.
Shipping cost via UPS reflects the insurance costs. Note customs duties are buyer’s responsibility and vary from country to country so please check
