Marble and onyx – double-sided chessboard
High-quality Italian chessboard signed by Dal Negro (Treviso), a historic manufacturer known for artisanal craftsmanship and the use of premium materials.
The chessboard is made of marble and natural onyx and is double-sided, meaning it features the playing surface on both sides: on the top side and on the bottom side, making it usable in both configurations. The squares, in light and dark tones, display the natural veining of the stone, with an elegant wooden frame.
In the center of the piano sits the original badge “Carte Dal Negro – Treviso Italia,” which certifies its authenticity and Italian production.
The set is complete with an integrated drawer, featuring wooden dividers and a green felt lining, housing the chess pieces in light and dark colors.
Chessboard: in excellent condition, intact, with no cracks or breaks; marble and onyx perfectly preserved on both sides.
The pieces are overall in good condition; some show small chips or signs of wear, visible in the photo and consistent with the item's age. The defects do not affect usability or the completeness of the set.
