AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This is a stupa (Tibetan: chörten), one of the most sacred symbols in Tibetan Buddhism.

The five elements (from bottom to top):

Square base with lotus: Symbolises the earth

Round dome (bumpa/vaas): Symbolizes water

Conical apex (harmika): Symbolizes fire — here with the characteristic layered rings

Parasol/disc: Symbolizes air/wind

Lotus crown: Symbolises space/ether and enlightenment

Symbolism
The 13 rings on the spire represent the 13 steps to enlightenment.

The lotus base stands for purity and spiritual development

The stupa (vase-shaped) often contains sacred texts, mantras, or relics.

The whole thing symbolizes the cosmic Mount Meru, the center of the Buddhist universe.

Function: Used for meditation, as a focus for devotion, or as a protective object. Sometimes mantras, prayer flags, or small offerings are offered. The stupa represents the physical manifestation of the Buddha's mind.

The stupa is in good used condition with signs of aging. (See photos)
