Description from the seller
Nigel Mansell signed 1991 Williams 1/2 scale helmet, hand signed on the visor, 1991 British Grand Prix 'taxi for Senna' edition, full livery, with photo COA.
Mansell-mania greeted the drivers as they arrived at Silverstone for the British Grand Prix. The track had been vastly remodelled, with Mansell qualifying on pole ahead of Senna; who made the better start and lead away, but only briefly at Nigel passed and lead to flag, with Senna running out of fuel on the last lap. Then the magic moment; while completing his victory lap Mansell stopped beside Senna and his out of fuel car. Mansell then had Senna climb on his car with Senna placing one leg in the cockpit and sitting on the car body, Mansell drove him back to pit lane, later dubbed the 'taxi for Senna' moment.
To celebrate one of the greatest moments in Formula 1, the Nigel Mansell, 1991 British Grand Prix helmet has been commissioned from Bell in 1/2 scale - this helmet has a unique livery, featuring the Today newspaper logo. The helmet also featured Camel (tobacco) sponsorship which will be added before shipping.
Custom box and COA included.
