Philips – N2521/00 (1) – HiFi stereo cassette deck with magno-control.
The N2521 HiFi cassette deck was released on the market in 1977 and comfortably exceeds DIN 45.500.
Operation of the controls for record (REC), rewind (REWIND), play (START), and fast-forward.
(WIND), pause (PAUSE), STOP and eject cassette (EJECT) are supported by electromagnets
(magno-control). At the end of the belt, the keys are automatically released by the electromagnets.
Switches for Dolby B noise reduction (Dolby Noise Reduction) and Philips’ own Dynamic Noise Reduction.
Limiting DNL during playback. Switches for FM pilot-tone filter and mono/stereo microphone. Switch for
ferro, chromium, ferro-chromium cassettes or automatic selection of the cassette type. Controller with
Lock for erasing the recording. Potentiometers for headphone volume and balance. Potentiometers
for recording level and balance. DIN inputs at the front for (stereo) microphone left and right. DIN
Front output for stereo headphones. At the rear, DIN connectors for LINE.
INPUT/OUTPUT and MONITOR, as well as potentiometers for adjusting the signal strength (LINE OUTPUT LEFT and
