Beautiful Korean cabinet bandaji dating to around 1900
Rectangular wooden cabinet made of elm with iron fittings, standing on 4 feet (12 cm).
Height from the floor is 118 cm.
Width 82 cm x Depth 38 cm
On the top there are 4 drawers, each 16 cm wide and 6 cm high.
The hinged doors in the middle each have a width of 29 cm and a height of 32 cm.
Inside there are 2 drawers of the same size as the upper drawers, plus one more drawer with double the width.
At the bottom there is a folding door (59 cm x 18 cm).
The wooden bottoms of one of the upper drawers and the large inner drawer are split/cracked.
The middle door handle on the right has no mounting on the left.
The surface can be polished anew if desired.
Additionally, smaller chips along the edges are visible.
The swastikas carved on the cabinet are Buddhist auspicious symbols. They have nothing to do with National Socialism or fascism.
