Description from the seller
Honda - ST70-152755- Kit "LadyDax" - 1st registration: 1977
Completely restored to 'New-RARE' and for collectors, all meticulously restored; engine new from the Honda factory in Japan. Pay attention to the details, for example helmets and prints (fixed). The value of each helmet (2 helmets included in the sale) in terms of cost and total expenditure is €960, only for a single helmet.
Obviously demonstrable and well-documented.
The example being proposed is therefore a Honda Dax ST70, more precisely the ST70 series with the "Lady Dax" kit.
In the model program, a 4-stroke single-cylinder gasoline engine of 72 cm³ displacement with a power of 4.8 horsepower, paired with a three-speed transmission with chain drive.
The year of first release of the model in question, as proposed during these auctions, is 12/05/1977.
The engine and all the parts were ordered and purchased new from the factory, bought directly from the original manufacturer, Honda, produced in Japan.
At the time of its replacement it showed 28,000 km on the odometer, and today—i.e., since the old engine was replaced and the new one installed—it has only 100 more kilometers, practically new. This engine is identical to the original and was installed during the full restoration.
Having been owned by only two owners, this motorcycle has been restored with meticulous precision by a true enthusiast of vintage motorcycles and of the original version. Fully functional with impeccable performance, it has never been damaged, struck, fallen, or otherwise harmed. It is sold with its two original helmets, restored to the Japanese manufacturer's specifications.
They will be able to advise us and guide us on any delivery and shipping costs.
However, I reiterate, the delivery costs, both within Europe and abroad, will be discussed and agreed upon between the seller and the buyer once the sale agreement is concluded and the final sale price of the motorcycle is fixed.
It shows no scratches or signs of damage, tires and everything else nearly new and not necessarily in need of replacement. Documentation and certificates are in order and compliant, even though for years it hasn’t been used or driven on public roads, restored and kept in a garage.

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
