Board game - Vintage James Bond 1965 - Paper

The vintage James Bond 007 board game from 1965 is based on the books by Ian Fleming and is completely complete. In addition to the game, the iconic Bond car from the film 'You Only Live Twice'.

The board game is published by Hausemann en Hötte (Jumbo).
The packaging is designed as an attaché case (32x23x5 cm, 700 g) and contains 70 playing cards, divided into 7 types, 4 speedboats, 4 cars and 4 (s)pawns.

Contents of the game:
In a laboratory situated on an island, scientists have discovered the formula for a solid rocket fuel. Secret agents from all corners of the world dispute ownership of this formula. As the rules describe ('Secret Service briefing'): “In this game, people of all ages can be James Bond. It opens for you, at home, the gateway to adventure.”

The game comes with the iconic Bond car, the Toyota 2000GT from the film 'You Only Live Twice' (1967) with a damaged diorama (see photos) and depicts the famous scene with 007 (Sean Connery) and the Japanese secret agent Aki. The die‑cast car is 1:34 scale and weighs 116 grams.
