Description from the seller
Philips 677
The Philips 677 (also known as the 22AF677) is a semi-automatic Hi-Fi turntable from the late seventies, notable for its innovative "Direct Control" speed regulation via a tone generator on the drive shaft. This system, unlike the trend toward direct drive used by other brands, provides a very stable speed with minimal wow and flutter. It features a suspended subchassis to minimize external vibrations and a handy, though not always perfectly accurate, built-in stylus pressure gauge in the armrest. This player, often equipped with a Philips GP400 or GP401 cartridge, is regarded as a solid, reliable, and well-built piece of vintage audio equipment."} }{]}]
Specifications±
Speeds: 33 and 45 RPM
Drive Method: Belt drive with electronic "Direct Control" speed regulation
Wow and Flutter: Less than 0.05%
Total Audible Rumble: Less than 65dB
Operation: Semi-automatic (auto-return and stop at the end of the record)
Cartridge: Typically equipped with Philips GP400 or GP401 magnetic cartridge
The only downside is that the fabric cap has to be made.
As you can see, the dust cap just isn’t included.
The record player works perfectly.
