This work, measuring 80 × 80 × 4.5 cm, is created on a wide, high-quality canvas and moves between painting and sculpture.
In light, the surface unfolds a clear presence. Depending on the incidence of light and viewing angle, the structure and depth change, with individual layers becoming more prominent. The work appears spatial and tangible – perception arises while walking, standing, or lingering.
Frequency NEON Yellow Orange Jewel — Sculpture of Light, Structure & Presence
Frequency NEON Yellow Orange is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist, I transfer rhythm, pauses, and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions create tensions similar to sustained tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.
