The drawing depicts Lobo with a hint of a torso, his hair sticking out in all directions, his face angry and haunted by the red details in his eyes and the blood spurting from his mouth.
On Lobo's shoulder is a very angry red-eyed bird.
John McCrea has been drawing comics for over 35 years (his most famous work is Hitman for DC, whose second omnibus volume will be released later this year) and has worked on Wolverine, Deadpool, Spider-Man, and the Hulk for Marvel; Batman, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, and Superman for DC; the creator-owned comics Atheist and Mythic for Image Comics; The Boys for Dynamite (now a TV series); and Judge Dredd for 2000AD.
He has recently drawn Dark Carnage and Viking Venom for Marvel, several Batman covers for DC, and stories and covers for 2000ad. Dead Eyes, his creator-owned series with Gerry Duggan for Image Comics, is also a regular feature.
