Riccardo ten Colombo - Cromoblock Long Playing

CROMOBLOCK is a hybrid of painting and sculpture: a mobile canvas made up of magnetic tiles, each hand-painted by the artist Riccardo Colombo using an airbrushing technique.

Each element can be moved thanks to magnets and recombined like in a game, giving rise to a dynamic composition in a continual state of transformation.
Each work is part of a modular system — the individual pieces are compatible with each other and can be combined to create new visual configurations, making each installation truly unique and unrepeatable.

This work is part of a limited edition of 9 copies titled Long Playing, all hand-painted, signed and individually numbered by the artist.
Each piece is composed of modules in reverse-painted Plexiglas with magnets, mounted on a canvas of polycotton and metal. It features slight color and texture variations that enhance its uniqueness and artisanal character.

Custom-made aluminum frame included.

The artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped in a custom-made protective box to ensure its integrity and perfect preservation during transport.
