Decorative sculpture depicting a cockatoo, made of hard stone / polychrome glass paste, finely worked with hand engravings that define the plumage.
The volatile is anchored by metallic claws to a natural base of rough Brazilian amethyst, with clearly visible purple crystals and natural matrix.
Brazilian production, purchased in Brazil, from the second half of the 20th century (approximately 1960–1980).
An object with a dramatic, scenographic impact, typical of South American decorative production intended for the international market in the second half of the twentieth century.
Condition: very good, with no breaks or restorations; normal signs compatible with natural materials.
