About me
My painting operates at the boundary between figuration and abstraction — a tension-filled dialogue of expressive gestures, intense color worlds, and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony.
Every work is a process of questioning and rediscovery.
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear again.
An emotionally charged dance between control and release.
Mila Veljac is a visual artist originating from Croatia. She furthered her education at art academies in Croatia, Vienna, Salzburg, and Stuttgart, and spent several years sharing her expertise as a lecturer in visual arts.
