Description from the seller
A0000001919
The fountain pen is in excellent condition, its elegant presence and commemorative character intact. The body and cap, with a gold finish and ornamental engravings inspired by classical motifs, retain a uniform shine and crisp definition of all decorative details, with no gold loss or noticeable wear.
The engravings display well-defined reliefs, with no flattening or signs of erosion, indicating very limited use or primarily for collection. No dents, dings, or structural deformations are observed in any of the pen's components.
The golden clip is properly aligned, firm, and without play, preserving its original shape. The central ring engraved "AURORA" remains clearly legible and deeply etched, with no wear from friction.
The 18-karat solid gold nib is in excellent condition, with a well-aligned tip and no deformations. It shows no signs of excessive pressure or microcracks, which guarantees optimal writing performance. The feed is clean and well preserved (operation not tested with ink).
Overall, it is a very well-preserved piece, suitable for both discerning collectors and for those seeking a high-quality writing pen with strong artistic and historical value, representative of Aurora's Italian tradition and of the tribute to Giuseppe Verdi.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for its proper preservation.
