Description from the seller
This work has been carried out without the use of artificial intelligence.
Freedom captures that poetic and irreversible moment when the cage opens and freedom becomes a choice. In this scene meticulously constructed, a young woman holds an empty cage while soft red feathers float in the air: traces of a bird that has already taken flight.
The lush, almost jungle-like vegetation frames the figure with an aesthetic reminiscent of period portraits and Pre-Raphaelite painting, while the color palette—dominated by deep greens, golds, and crimson reds—gives the image a theatrical aura rich in symbolism.
Far from drama, the protagonist's expression is serene, as if the act of letting go, of releasing, were not a gesture of loss, but an act of acceptance. The composition — as carefully crafted as a cinematic scene — conveys a sense of silent, mature, inevitable release.
With reminiscences of Baroque art and fashion photography, Freedom is a work that balances formal beauty with a subtle narrative, inviting the spectator to reflect on inner freedom and the act of renunciation as a form of empowerment.
