IWC Fliegerchronograph, reference 2631911º, with automatic movement, a 39 mm stainless steel case, black dial, and steel bracelet, in very good condition with minor wear.
Description from the seller
A0000001912
IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph (Fliegerchronograph) in very good overall condition, with visible but moderate signs of use, consistent with a watch of this type and era.
The stainless steel case shows surface marks and micro scratches typical of normal use, especially noticeable on the sides and bezels under direct light. No deep dents, dings, or deformations are observed; the lines of the case remain well defined.
The sapphire crystal is in good condition, with no cracks or impacts. Very light surface marks compatible with use can be seen, without affecting readability.
The black dial is kept in very good condition, clean and homogeneous, with numerals, indices, and luminous material well preserved. The hands maintain their integrity and correct visibility. No signs of moisture or deterioration are observed.
The screwed crown and pushers function correctly, with firm and precise operation. The chronograph operates properly, with correct start, stop, and reset functions. The day and date change work normally.
The original IWC stainless steel bracelet shows signs of use consistent with its age, with visible micro scratches, and no excessive play. The signed deployant clasp functions correctly and provides a secure closure.
Overall, it is an honestly preserved watch, fully functional, ideal for both daily use and as part of an IWC aviation watch collection.
It will be sent in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
Good auction!
