Davide Tedeschini (b. 1974) created Opera luminosa, a mixed media artwork of 70 × 70 cm with 6 cm thickness, dated 2019, original edition, sold with frame, in excellent condition, Italy.
Description from the seller
It is an assemblage consisting of a handcrafted, plastered and professionally varnished frame and a bright LED lamp, painted with an impasto effect. The overall dimensions are 70 x 70 x 6 cm. The color on top of the object is thick (impasto). In the photo it is lit (photo).
It can be used in pubs, nightclubs, boutiques, beauty salons, pop furnishings, kitsch or postmodern settings. It can be displayed lit or unlit, but for contemporary art venues it should be lit. The system has a cord with a power outlet about 1.5 m long, equipped with disconnects (photos with rendering in a gallery, in a pub, or game room).
On the back there is the author's signature with the title 'Opera luminosa', 70 x 70 cm, Rome, 2019. The work comes from the author, for whom a certificate is issued.
The first one was sold on Catawiki in 2018 after being exhibited at the Rome Fair. Others can be printed on plexiglass and are of lower value.
The work is in the author's style, which is evident in both its shapes and colors. The 2019 collective catalog of color works is available as a PDF (photos).
The author is listed in AA.VV. Catalogo dell'arte moderna nos. 55, 56 and 59, Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori; in other publications, and is also assessable on sites dedicated to international auctions (not included).
It was auctioned at the Ambrosiana Poleschi Gallery in Milan, and he participated with several galleries—Brugiati (Rome) and Via Farini (Bologna)—in the Padua Art Fair in 2023. His works are both paintings and assemblages in black and white and in color on canvas and panel.
Careful packaging for shipping.
