Description from the seller
Bruno Roscioli
(1925-2009)
Oil on canvas painting depicting a clarinet. The painting is signed at the bottom left
The painting has probably been trimmed, something that can be inferred from the inscriptions on the back which appear to be interrupted. Nevertheless, the composition of the painting is very well balanced, to such an extent that it does not suffer any diminution.
Dimensions of painting: 27.0 x 71.0 cm
Frame size: 41.5 x 85.0 cm
In excellent condition; there are a few small defects and restorations to the frame (see the photos).
Bruno Roscioli, a figurative artist, born in Rome in 1925, participated in numerous exhibitions, including the Rome Quadriennale, the Michetti Prize, the Salon de l'art libre, the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Paris, and the Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome, in addition to numerous exhibitions in Roman art galleries.
