Montblanc - Fountain pen

Good condition, unused for years. The mechanical nib with retractable tip mechanism is perfectly functioning. Marked with the original Mont Blanc 18 K R. engraved on the closure cap. The mark is also engraved on the nib (as shown in the photo). Model Montblanc Safety Fountain Pen from around 1915 - 1925. Body plated in 18K gold. Retractable nib (Safety). Cap with original ring. Engraved decorations typical of the period. Marking 18K R = 18-carat gold, German standard pre-1930.
Condition: original readable engravings; ring.
Present; well-preserved gilding. No obvious serious dents. Micro scratches and patina of time.
