The work presents the minimalist language of form characteristic of Franco Fontana, the geometric framing of architecture, and an intense, saturated color palette teetering on the edge of abstraction.

The motif and color palette point to North African architecture, most likely Marrakesh (Morocco) — a location that frequently appears in the artist's travel photography series.
