Late 19th century solid silver rectangular box with a gilt interior, hand-embossed with a rural landscape and cranes, hallmarked Chinese high‑grade .900 silver, 84 g, dimensions 8.3 × 6 × 1 cm, origin China from the Qing Dynasty, in excellent condition.

Exceptional quality late 19th century solid silver rectangular box with gilt interior, finely hand embossed with a Landlord and two Ladies in a rural landscape.
The other side with a male and female cranes or storks, which symbolizes longevity as well as wisdom, above and under an engraved flaming heart shaped cartouche
Fully hallmarked with Chinese characters for high grade silver and silversmith's mark, possibly Tuck Chang (Shanghai 1890-1915)
Lenght 8,3 cm

Height 1 cm
Net silver weight 84 grams
Condition report:
In clean fine circa 130 years old original condition - great patina, minor scratches and dings - no cracks, no repairs, as you can see in pictures that are part of the description
