Brother Deluxe 900 - Typewriter - 1960-1970

This is a Brother Deluxe 900 portable typewriter, manufactured in Japan in May 1966, nearly 60 years old. Brother typewriters from this period are well known for their solid mechanical quality and reliability.

The machine is fully working and in excellent original condition. All keys respond correctly, the typebars move freely, the carriage runs smoothly and all functions have been tested. The typewriter shows only very light signs of use, consistent with careful handling over time. There is no visible rust or damage, and the keys are clean and evenly coloured.

This example is equipped with a Dutch keyboard layout (QWERTY) making it particularly suitable for use in the Netherlands or Belgium and of interest to collectors of regional variants such as English.
