Description from the seller
This 19th-century walking cane with a stag horn handle and a silver middle piece is an elegant and authentic object from a time when functionality and refinement went hand in hand. A characterful walking cane that was clearly crafted with care and skilled craftsmanship.
The handle is made from real antler, nicely shaped and naturally curved, with a warm patina and a visible texture that emphasizes the age and authenticity. Between the handle and the shaft sits a silver intermediary piece, beautifully finished and bearing hallmarks or maker's marks, which point to quality and possibly regional silverwork.
The wooden shaft shows a beautiful grain and subtle irregularities, which makes each cane unique. The natural knots and the weathered surface give it a charming, rustic appearance. At the bottom, the walking cane is finished with a metal tip, intended for durability and stability.
With a length of 87 cm, this walking cane is ideal as a collectible object, decorative piece, or stylish accent in a classic interior, hunting lodge, or gentleman's office.
In original, used condition with normal signs of wear that only enhance the historical character of this 19th-century walking cane.
