Description from the seller

Beautiful antique Bible stand in solid oak, rendered in a characterful Neo-Gothic style. This special piece is believed to date from the period 1880–1910 and is richly decorated with elegant pointed-arch shapes and decorative ball ornaments.
The warm oak tone and the beautiful grain give the whole a stately and authentic appearance. The construction is sturdy and stable, ideal for a Bible, Missal, choir book, or as a decorative stand for an art book.
The carved arches and artisan details reveal craftsmanship from a time when furniture was still made with care and precision. Very decorative in a classic interior, library, hall, or as an atmospheric ecclesiastical object.
Condition: in good antique condition with normal signs of wear appropriate to age. No major damage; sturdy construction.
A characterful and rare object that is both functional and decorative—and a true eye-catcher with a historic appearance.
