Richard Ginori Tea Service - Year 1932
Refined tea service in fine white porcelain, produced by the renowned Italian manufacturer Richard Ginori. The set stands out for a classic and luxurious design, typical of the refined taste of the Art Deco era.
Decoration: Characterized by a cobalt blue underglaze band, enriched with elegant gold friezes in a laurel leaf motif.
Central motif: The body of each piece features delicate gold wreath-like garlands with small flowers and dotted geometric details.
Set Composition (9 Pieces):
1 Teapot with coordinating lid, H 12 x 26 cm
1 sugar bowl with two handles and lid, 10 x 18 cm
1 milk jug, h 7.50 x 15 cm
7 teacups, height 5.20 cm x diameter 9 cm (without handle), with the corresponding saucers; 8 pieces, diameter 13.40 cm.
Condition of Preservation
The service is presented in excellent overall cosmetic condition. The porcelain is intact and bright. There are slight, normal signs of wear on the gilding in some spots (as visible in the close-up photos), which attest to its authenticity and period use without compromising its charm.
Trademarks and Authenticity:
Each piece bears on the bottom the green 'Richard Ginori' mark with star icons. The numeric marking 32-5 is present, certifying its production in 1932.
