The Montblanc Carrera Multicolor pen is in very good overall condition, fully preserving its original aesthetics and its proper mechanical function.

The black resin body retains a uniform shine, with light surface micro-scratches typical of use and the passage of time, visible only upon close inspection and consistent with a vintage instrument from this era. No cracks, breaks, or repairs are observed.

The lower metal section with a satin finish shows slight and uniform wear, in keeping with its age, without deep dents or deformations, properly preserving its shape and original finish.

The perforated metal clip, a distinctive element of the Carrera model, is straight, firm, and well aligned, with minimal cosmetic wear, no looseness, and no signs of fatigue.

The multicolor mechanism operated by pushbutton and gravity selection works correctly, enabling fluid switching of each color according to the pen’s orientation. The pushbutton responds precisely and returns properly. The side color windows remain well defined.

The Montblanc emblem on the upper end cap is intact, centered, and well preserved, with no losses or cracks.

All in all, it is an honest, well-preserved and fully functional specimen, ideal for both everyday use and collection, especially appealing because it is the multicolor version, less common within the Carrera series.
