Commemorative silver coin dedicated to the composer Joseph Haydn, issued on the occasion of the bicentennial of his birth. The obverse features his portrait in left-facing profile, in a sober and realistic style, with good modelling of the hair and features, showing clean surfaces and an original lustre that is well preserved. The reverse displays the Austrian federal shield surrounded by the shields of the states, with the central denomination clearly defined and crisp reliefs. A specimen of notable quality, with light, even patina, well-preserved fields and minimal signs of contact, in keeping with its grade of preservation.
