Austria, Vienna, 2 Schilling commemorative silver coin dedicated to Karl Lueger, 1935, graded MS64 by NGC.
Description from the seller
AUSTRIA. Vienna. 2 Schilling. 1935.
- Value: 2 Schilling.
- Year: 1935.
- Inscriptions: Obverse: MAYOR DR. KARL LUEGER · 1844–1910, bust to the right of Karl Lueger. Reverse: ÖSTERREICH · 2 S · 1935, a double-headed eagle with a central shield.
- Grading: MS64 (NGC).
Commemorative 2 Schilling coin dedicated to Karl Lueger, with a right-facing portrait in a realistic style and solid sculptural relief, highlighting the volume of the hair and beard with good modeling and transitions of planes. The reverse presents the Austrian heraldic double-headed eagle, with classical heraldic design, well-defined feathers and a clearly delineated central shield. The specimen retains full and sharp relief, with relatively clean fields and original lustre still perceptible beneath a light, uniform patina, showing light contact marks consistent with the grade, resulting in a balanced and visually attractive piece.
Disclaimer: For orders shipped outside the European Union, I want to leave absolutely clear that I do ship from Spain, which means that if the package is sent to any country outside the European Union, and/or inside EU that has special tax agreement (example: Canary Islands), it might be stopped in your local customs and they might ask you to pay taxes. This is a customs legal procedure and it is completely out of our control. Thanks for your understanding.
