This hand-knotted Oriental rug is crafted in Kashan design, one of the best-known and most balanced styles of classical Persian rug art. The composition follows a strictly symmetrical layout and appears calm, elegant, and harmonious.

The light field/background is rendered in a warm cream tone and is dominated by a central, richly worked medallion. From this medallion emanate finely curved floral scrolls, palmettes, and floral motifs, which spread evenly across the entire field. The color palette of blues, browns, beiges, and subtle rust tones is restrained and carefully coordinated, giving the rug a very balanced and timeless look.

The surrounding border is multi-tiered and features classic floral motifs that clearly frame the central field and echo the lines of the medallion. Overall, a cohesive, high-quality overall impression is created that is typical of Keshan carpets and fits both traditional and modern living spaces.
