1846 Sibema - Milk jug - Steel

Authentic sealed milk can from the Dutch brand Sibema, featuring the stamped number 1846 on both the shoulder of the can and the original lid.

The milk can is made of solid copper and has a handsome, naturally formed patina that has developed over the years. The surface shows clear signs of wear, small dents, and discolorations, in keeping with intensive agricultural use. This contributes to the authenticity and the industrial character of the object.

The lid is original to the bus and closes properly. The two side handles are intact and firmly attached. No visible cracks or signs of rust.
The bus is badly dented but still watertight.

This type of milk can was used for the transport and temporary storage of milk on farms and at dairies, and is nowadays highly prized as a decorative collectible.
