We present to you an elegant serving plate from the world-renowned porcelain manufactory Meissen. This charming plate is crafted in the famous “Zwiebelmuster” (onion pattern), one of the best-known and most beloved designs by Meissen. On the back is the mark “2. Wahl,” indicating minor production characteristics that do not affect the beauty or functionality of the item.
A distinctive feature of this plate is its exquisite shape with scrolling edges and decorative relief bands on the outer rim, executed in cobalt blue. The classic 'onion pattern', also painted in cobalt blue, is characterized by its attention to detail and harmonious arrangement of motifs, including stylized flowers, fruits, and leaves.
