The artworks are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before being individually sent back to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from departure in the United States to your home.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, rose to prominence in 2009 with his sculptures One Dollar, that same year ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 according to Artprice. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him as one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its work FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, during the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive two-meter bronze sculpture, One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl's artistic journey began at the age of 7 with collages, prompted by his encounter with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. The artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to fuse his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot Gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by Bel Air Fine Art gallery at the Art Monaco fair with his piece Cryptogram One. The following year, he presented his works One Dollar on the theme "In God We Trust" at the Artco France gallery. His solo exhibition in 2016 at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.

2026 : - Finalization of the artwork One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.

2025: - Installation of the monumental work Reflection of the Sun. Installed near the all-new Pavillon des Bains, on the Promenade Michel d'Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Collective exhibitions, Galerie Nicolas Auvray, New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram measuring 1.80 m and a 2-meter 'One Dollar' were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture that will be installed at the CID. The artists interviewed about the artist and who have received the trophy are: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the two-meter-tall work One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- The rapper Rick Ross posed with a One Dollar Special Edition St. Regis.

2022: New York: Times Square, New York City, a projection on the Nasdaq screen of the artwork 'A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City'.

2017: Karl Lagasse takes over the design of the trophies for the Deauville American Film Festival from the prestigious Cartier House.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A 'One Dollar' two meters tall, entirely made of bronze, was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist on his work.
- Premiere in Spain at the Atrium Gallery in Marbella, a solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the city's mayor, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. Special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati, with the creation of a monumental installation titled "A Piece of Heaven on Earth" (A corner of paradise on earth). This work is composed of a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar bills are placed on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity's greatest debt.

2014 : - Maserati presents the world premiere of the Maserati Ghibli revisited by artist Karl Lagasse on the occasion of the brand's 100th anniversary.
- Solo exhibition at the Italian Embassy in Paris. The Italian ambassador to France hosts a dinner in his presence, centered on the artist's works.

2013: Group exhibition, Automobile Club de France, Place de la Concorde, Paris.

2012: Karl donated to the city of Deauville a bronze sculpture, Crytogram One, which will remain permanently at the entrance to the city.
For the 65th anniversary of the Cannes Film Festival, Karl created a sculpture 'Building' made from a collage of photos tracing the key moments in the festival's history.
