The VOX Giulietta VGA-3D is a semi-acoustic cutaway archtop, full-hollow-body style, but it offers modern playability and cutting-edge tones thanks to the AREOS-D digital modeling system.

The Tune-O-Matic-style bridge equipped with a piezo contributes to delivering brilliance, clarity, and harmonic fullness to acoustic models, while the VOX XLM Humbucker pickup delivers authentic and dynamic electric tones. VOX engineers have also solved the common over-ring problem on Archtop instruments fitted with piezo; this phenomenon occurs when a piezo bridge-mounted pickup amplifies not only the sound but also the string length between the bridge and nut, creating an unwanted effect that spoils your performance; to address this, VOX has developed a removable string retainer for easy use (included with the guitar) that prevents over-ring.
