Impressive folio-sized work gathering 38 patterns of Indian embroidery on 38 color plates mounted on gray paper sheets. Publisher's binding for a collection of illustrated works on fashion and embroidery around the world by the publishing house Ernst. Illustration preceded by an introduction by Estrade and by a table of plates.
In leaves, under a floral half-cloth wrapper, spine unlettered, front board bearing the title piece.
Good condition, canvas slightly worn, interior intact.
