Female nude in glazed ceramic – Triart, Bassano, Italy – ca. 1950–1960
Professionally shipped – more than 850 five-star reviews worldwide.
Glazed ceramic figurine of a seated female nude, produced by Triart in Bassano, Italy, in the postwar period. The figure is compact in form and rests on an irregularly shaped pedestal. The body is depicted in a closed posture, with the head resting on the arm.
The glaze is evenly applied in soft tones, with the hair finished in a contrasting way. The underside bears a handwritten brand mark “TRIART ITALY – BASSANO”, in keeping with the producer’s usual signature.
Height approx. 20 cm; in good used condition with some small glaze chips, no cracks or restorations.
