RVS Verzekeringen was a Dutch insurance company, whose predecessor was established in 1838; the acronym RVS stands for Rotterdamse Verzekerings Sociëteit. In 2011, RVS merged into Nationale-Nederlanden to reach a larger audience. For most of the 19th century, RVS was located at Westerstraat 3 in Rotterdam. In the early 1990s, RVS moved into the new Nationale Nederlanden building (Delftse Poort), in the smaller of the two towers. In 1995, after the merger with Victoria Vesta, the majority of the staff moved to the Victoria Vesta building in Ede, in the province of Gelderland.
