Description from the seller
Exceptionally without reservation!
An exquisite 20th-century painting depicting an evocative still life in a classical style, set on an elegant, balanced composition.
At the center of the stage stands a candelabrum with a lit candle, a symbol of light and silence, flanked by a plate full of fruits in warm, ripe tones. In the foreground appears an ornamental horn with a shaft, a decorative element that enriches the composition with a symbolic and scenographic reference. The whole scene is set in front of an intensely red drapery, skillfully rendered with soft folds that give depth and theatricality to the scene.
The color palette is dominated by reds, ochres, and browns, with warm contrasts that enhance the volumes of the objects and their materiality. The brushwork is controlled and harmonious, clearly inspired by the tradition of European still life in a classical idiom.
To complete the work, a finely crafted gilded frame with a strong decorative presence that surrounds the scene with elegance and enhances its overall visual impact.
Please note that, given the age of the work, there may be small defects, signs of aging, or slight imperfections: natural elements that attest to its authenticity and history.
The photographs were taken under direct spotlight light, to highlight every detail.
Our shipments are fast, professional, and packaged in perfect protection: hence the related shipping costs.
In accordance with the current regulations on works of art, shipments outside Europe (Schengen area) entail significantly higher costs and may cause delays, customs difficulties, or other problems, which remain entirely at the buyer's expense and responsibility, unless private agreements.
