Description from the seller

Antique silver-plated serving set (spoon & fork) in original box – 24 micron silvering – approx. 1900–1925

Elegant antique serving set consisting of a large spoon and accompanying fork, crafted in refined Neoclassical Louis XVI style and presented in the original luxurious storage box with silk lining.

The metal parts are of high-quality silver-plated, with a clear 24-micron silver-plating indication, indicating a thick and durable silver layer of high quality, typical of better workshops from the early 20th century.

The handles are silver-plated with amber-colored, translucent bowls (probably horn or early plastic), which fits perfectly within the Belle Époque era.

Period: ca. 1900–1925
Material: silvered metal (24 microns), bowls in horn/plastic
Number of pieces: 2 (serving spoon + serving fork)
Origin: Western Europe (retail set in original box)
Condition: good antique condition with light signs of wear appropriate for its age.

A stylish and decorative set, appealing to collectors of antique table silverware and Belle Époque dinnerware. The set is in good antique condition. The spoon's handle shows a bit of play and can rotate slightly, which is typical for items of this age, but remains sturdy and fully intact.
