Description from the seller
The contemporary artist Richard Orlinski is known worldwide for his faceted sculptures. He is the worthy successor of iconic Pop Art artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, and even Basquiat, and in 2015 he became the French contemporary artist with the highest sales worldwide. His work can also be likened to that of Jeff Koons, Romero Britto, Yayoi Kusama, or Burton Morris.
Here, Richard Orlinski reconnects with street art and breathes new life into the Smurfs while preserving their universal values of kindness, transmission, and optimism.
