Anonymous - Inchiostri G. Diletti – Brisighella - 1900s

Refined and rare original advertising poster (NO copies, NO reproductions) for Inchiostri G. Diletti – Brisighella, a splendid example of Italian Liberty graphic design from the early years of the twentieth century.

The composition depicts a young woman elegantly dressed, caught in the act of writing with a pen and inkwell, rendered with great painterly delicacy and a harmonious color palette. The image, strongly evocative, combines feminine grace, illustrative quality, and a clear promotional intent, features typical of the finest Italian posters of the era.

Of particular value is the design of the figure, the care in the details of the garment and the balance of the decorative layout, with a sinuous frame and rich symbolic elements. At the bottom the inscription of Stab. C. Borrani – Florence is visible, a historic printing establishment active in the early decades of the 20th century.

Conditions

Overall good condition considering its age. Present are normal signs of aging such as light creases, small abrasions and minimal marginal defects, visible in the photograph. Colors are still bright and legible. Overall excellent preservation for an original-era poster.
