Original vintage advertising poster for Lancaster cosmetics, produced in Germany circa 1950s–early 1960s.
This poster promotes Lancaster beauty products with the slogan “Zur Verjüngung von Gesicht und Figur” (“For rejuvenation of face and figure”), a typical and iconic message of post-war European cosmetic advertising.
The design features elegant mid-century typography and a classic glamour portrait of a woman, perfectly reflecting the aesthetics of the 1950s beauty industry. Such original cosmetic advertising posters are increasingly rare and highly sought after by collectors and interior designers.
