National Panasonic RS 4300 LJS portable radio cassette player, manufactured in Japan in the 1970s, in good physical condition with one unit, no extras, weighs 6 kg, and has been tested and is working for both the cassette and radio, with a non-original but functional antenna and a balance knob missing its metal cap but fully functional.
Description from the seller
I present to you in this auction a portable radio cassette player by National Panasonic RS 4300, considered one of the rare and distinctive models in this category. It was manufactured in Japan.
Unfortunately, I was unable to find detailed information about the device, but I think it dates back to the 1970s.
The external condition of the unit is good, with normal signs of use considering its age.
The antenna is not original and is not firmly fixed, but it performs its function well and can be fully retracted without any issues. It is also important to note that the device receives FM stations even without raising the antenna at all.
There is a small scratch on the cassette door that did not appear clearly in the photos; however, it does not affect the device in any way and is barely noticeable.
The balance control knob is missing its metal cap, but this does not affect its functionality whatsoever.
The device has been tested and is fully working — both the cassette player and the radio — and it produces a beautiful, warm sound, as is well known for National devices.
The unit operates on electricity as well as batteries (the battery compartment is clean)
