Original stone from St. Stephen's Cathedral, Vienna – Viennese Builders' Guild
Description
Original stone fragment from an official restoration project of St. Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna, released by the Vienna Builders' Guild, which has been responsible for the construction and preservation of the cathedral since the Middle Ages.
The object bears the original seal of the Vienna Builders' Guild and is accompanied by a written confirmation from the Cathedral Building Office, signed by DI Wolfgang Zehetner, former master builder of St. Stephen's Cathedral.
The stone consists of historic Vienna limestone (Leithakalk), a traditional building material of St. Stephen's Cathedral. It is not an archaeological find, but an officially approved restoration fragment.
An authentic object of Vienna's architectural and cultural history, suitable for collectors and those interested in architectural history.
