Description from the seller
Hello again to clarinet lovers. I present to you this German-engineered Buffet instrument and its model known as EVETTE, widely used in schools at elementary and middle levels (semi-professional). I acquired it from a luthier and it’s in great condition, almost like new and of superior quality. It’s made of the 1980s composite material called "ebonite". They were available in ebonite and in ebony or natural wood, at the same price in the 80s, and I mention it because it was my second clarinet in 1983, while I was in elementary and middle grades at the State Conservatory of Music (there were no middle-grade schools, only a state higher conservatory at that time in Spain). Well, again... this EVETTE, besides having been completely serviced and tested and found to sound perfect, I’ve added a vintage wide-bore mouthpiece model EVETTE Schaeffer of Paris with no bite marks (even though it has the compensator for protection, it has no dents, not a word). I should note that although it retains the gilt of the emblem, it shows some discoloration due to cleaning, which I personally find makes it more attractive. This lot is complete with ligature and mouthpiece cap still in good condition, and housed in a rigid case with no nasty knocks and it performs well. If your child needs a clarinet approved by all European state schools, this is a good lot. So seize the opportunity now and bid with a sense of quality, warm regards, M.inst. Harbour
