Description from the seller

Champagne cooler, Champagne Emmer, cooler, ice bucket, wine cooler, cooler, bucket, seau.

Stunning Art Deco champagne cooler, made for the house G.H. MUMM in Reims.

Beautiful, professional, and elegant quality cooler, made from highly polished metal, with cords (ribbons) embedded in the metal that run through the handles.

Honest character cooler, with identical colorful labels on both sides.
Champagne G.H. MUMM & Cie Reims-France Founded in 1827.

Mumm was founded in 1827 by Peter Arnold Mumm from Cologne.
In 1873, the house began with the non-vintage brut (BSA) of Cordon Rouge. The sale of these bottles accounts for 80% of the company's revenue.

The bottom is provided with stamps, placed by the manufacturer: "M.O.D. Meaux ARGIT Made in France."
M.O.D. stands for Metaux Ouvres et Decores, originally since 1926 a manufacturer of furniture fittings in Meaux.
Having tried to diversify production, she manufactured silverware and acquired the brand ARGIT, the well-known maker of silver Champagne coolers.

This cooler from the 1950s is in an almost unused, very good condition (see photos).

The food:
Height 21.5 cm
Diameter 21 cm.
Width including ears: 25 cm.

Difficult to find anymore in this condition, making it a serious collectors item.
